Website Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 October 2026
This policy covers the website shoplyapps.com. Our Shopify app has its own policy: see the Shoply: Item Scan & Analytics privacy policy for how the app handles store data.
Who we are
shoplyapps.com is run by Shoply Apps ("we", "us"), founded by Ignas Pilybas and Romas Gabdrafikas in Lithuania. Shoply Apps is being registered as a Lithuanian company; until then, the two founders are responsible for your data. We will add the company's registered details here once it is registered.
Questions or requests about your data: [email protected]. We reply within 30 days.
What data we process
- Emails you send us. The website has no forms or accounts. Links such as "Notify me", "Get launch news" and "Share an idea" open your own email app with a message to [email protected]. If you send it, we receive your email address, your name if your email includes it, and your message.
- Technical data from hosting. Like most websites, the servers that deliver shoplyapps.com record technical data about each visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested and the time. This happens at our hosting provider and at Cloudflare (see below).
- No tracking. The website has no analytics, advertising or social media tracking scripts, and we don't set cookies of our own.
Why we use it
- Emails: to reply to you and, if you asked, to tell you when our apps launch. Our legal basis under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is your consent for launch news (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time, and our legitimate interest in answering messages (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Technical data: to deliver the website, keep it secure and working, and prevent abuse. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f)).
Who we share it with
- GoDaddy: hosts the website and receives the technical data described above.
- Cloudflare: sits between your browser and our website to deliver pages quickly and protect the site, so it processes technical data such as IP addresses.
- Our email provider: stores the emails you send to [email protected].
We never sell your data or use it for advertising. These providers may process data outside the European Union; when they do, they rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We may disclose data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Launch news requests: until we have sent the launch announcement or you ask us to stop, whichever comes first.
- Other emails: up to 12 months after our last exchange.
- Technical data: for the periods set by GoDaddy and Cloudflare for their logs.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, to limit how we use it, or to object to its use. You can withdraw your consent to launch news at any time by emailing us. Email [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days.
If you think we have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to Lithuania's State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija) or to the data protection authority in your own country.
Changes to this policy
We will post any change on this page with a new date.
